Are diamonds a good investment? On paper, diamonds make great investment sense. They have high intrinsic value, they're always in demand and they last forever - plus, they're small, portable and easy to store (unlike that priceless Ming vase you just had to have at auction).

Diamond worth nothing , it is worth something because the ones who mines them regulate the float on the market so like that the diamond still “rare” and expensive, otherwise it will worth nothing they have so many tonnes of them. ask the rothschild.

However, over a longer time period, diamond prices have increased.
