👉 18k gk stamped diamond ring ?

That isn't a diamond - it's a cubic zirconia. I can see that the edges of the stone are unpolished. I think the letters are 18KGR which means the ring is probably 18K rolled gold, not solid gold. Tangoes, 4 years ago. The ring definitely reads/mark 18k,G K not GR but thanks ( Efesgirl) for the info I gladly appreciated.

👉 What does man thai stamped on silver ring band mean?

👉 Is there a gold diamond ring stamped with korea?

  • I also have jewelry stamped KOREA. it is a rhinestone chandelier necklace made from delicate little crystal rhinestones. All of the prong-set stones are clear and brilliant. it dates from the late 1930's to early 1940's. The metal content is also not marked. I hope this helps.

Because it's not a diamond and not set in gold or silver or platinum.

Usually it means that the ring is not real (what many will call a fake ring). The Metal is probably brass or some cheap base metal and has no real precious metal content. This also means that often all the stones in the ring are fake as well. But, this is not always the case. I’ve seen real rings, real diamond rings that is, have no stamp either…

I have a 14k white gold round diamond bridal set with additional smaller diamonds on the band that has stamps on the inside of the band/s in addition to the 14KT. On one band it is printed TRS 1/2. On the other band shows two connected side by side circles.

Jun 2, 2010. #1. I'm sorry if I'm bugging everyone with all my posts! My last thread had so many posts I just didn't think anyone would see my question. Ok, the ring I bought from the pawn shop has a long code on it with a diamond shape stamp pic next to it. Also has the ct weight on the other side of the code. This is all on the solitaire band.

A. FOR RINGS WITH NO MARKING INSIDE --. I MYSELF REALIZED THAT THERE WAS NO MARK INSIDE OF MY RING AFTER HAVING IT SIZED. WHEN YOU ARE HAVING IT MADE SMALLER THE JEWELER CUTS A PIECE OF THE GOLD OUT OF THE BOTTOM PART OF THE BAND AND USUALLY IT'S WHERE IT IS MARKED, THEREFORE LEAVING NO MARK AT ALL.

It has become more common for jewelry coming from China and other regions to have stamps that are not correct in order to pass of jewelry as real gold or even sterling silver. Always be aware of who you are buying from and make sure they have been around a while and have great ratings and / or reviews. Another thing to watch for is mark manipulation.

Being that the ring is stamped PD then it is palladium metal. I would not worry that it is not stamped with anything else on the inside. Some manufacturers put their trademark in the rings but not all. Also, the carat weight of the diamonds is almost never stamped into the ring.

Why would a diamond ring not have a number stamp on it? Because it's not a diamond. Diamond rings are set in gold or silver which are stamped with purity hallmarks.

Why would a Diamond ring have nothing stamped on band? Because it's not a diamond and not set in gold or silver or platinum. Why doesn't Nancy grace wear her wedding band any more?

Ring: Closely inspect the ring. If it appears to be a poor quality ring or if it doesn't seem to consist of a common metal used in engagement rings - such as platinum, white gold, or yellow gold - you could have a fake diamond. Trustworthy jewelers just don't commonly place an expensive stone like a diamond in a lousy, cheap setting.

If the gemstone sinks, it’s a real diamond. If it floats underneath or at the surface of the water, you have a fake on your hands. A real diamond has high density, so the water test shows if your stone matches this level of density. 2) Fog Test. For the fog test, hold the diamond or ring between two fingers and breath on it with a puff of air.
